We often have to run electrical or telecommunications cables across the floor. This happens frequently in workplaces where desks aren't always pushed up against a wall and we need to supply power and internet connection, especially for computers. Typically, these cables are covered with a metal or plastic piece, like the one shown here. The initial idea was to cover just one cable, but once I designed it, I saw that there was room to add two channels on either side to allow for two more cables of slightly smaller diameter.
