Note: This model is still evolving and will likely see significant updates in the near future. The Cubitruncated Cuboctahedron was an absolute must-model for me as soon as I laid eyes on it. Its distinctive appearance doesn't scream "crazy," but it does possess a certain je ne sais quoi that sets it apart from other shapes. Initially, I had no idea where to begin, so I made a couple of part files that didn't quite make the cut before landing on this one. Starting with a cube in Autodesk Inventor, I added sketches and extrusions to carve into the block, finishing off with an impressive array of lofts - perhaps a tad too many. The small flower-shaped marks visible in the large triangles are a byproduct of those lofts; unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to eradicate them entirely. Moreover, the triangles aren't recessed as they appear on the Wikipedia page, although these minor imperfections are still preferable to an inaccurate representation of this shape.
