One of my final projects, combining design and machining. The experience was incredibly enjoyable when working with a sinusoidal table and a rotary chuck to craft unique parts. I designed the project using CATIA V5 software and performed the machining on a conventional lathe for task one - creating a cylinder with specific thickness. For job two, I utilized a milling center to precision-cut the square pocket in the middle. Finally, I returned to the milling center to execute job three, employing both the sinusoidal table and rotary chuck to mill four distinct shapes at a 10-degree angle.
