One of my most recent design and machining projects was an absolute blast. I thoroughly enjoyed working with a "sinus table" and a rotary chuck to create some truly unique parts. The design process took place on CATIA V5, while the machining was done on a conventional lathe for Job 1, which involved creating a cylinder with specific thickness requirements. For Job 2, I used a milling center to precision-cut the square pocket in the middle of the part. Finally, I employed the same milling center, combined with the "sinus table" and rotary chuck, to mill four distinct shapes at a precise 10-degree angle for Job 3.
