Cubiio Print Stand
thingiverse
I needed a way to print items that are fairly large. The Cubiio screen is too big and also quite expensive. I came up with my own solution. This 150mm stand provides a work space of 100mm x 100mm. Markings at 10mm intervals inside near the bottom help to line things up precisely. I plan to paint the inside black. I use my Cubiio with Certified OD 7+ safety glasses, which you can see in more detail below. The link to the glasses is provided for your convenience. Update 3/15/19: I printed Version 1 of this stand and learned a few things along the way. I redid the files and will reprint it soon. In my first version, I had some sizes slightly off, and I didn't do a good job of constraining my sketches, which led to some funny corners. This next version should be perfect. The laser rides the edges almost perfectly when running a 100mm x 100mm square test pattern.
