CUBIFY CUBE Titan Extruder Mount
thingiverse
This is an upgrade to the hacked-up cubify cube I've been trying to finish for ages ... I recently purchased a E3D Titan extruder for another printer, and I wanted a way to mount it as a direct drive on the cube. I had made an adapter plate for the MGN9-style rail to a Prusa mount, and I was pleased with it till I noticed some slop in the mount because it had too much weight toward the end of the mount. I fired up Onshape and after a few attempts, this is what I came up with: a new, lighter, smaller, faster, stronger, better (Daft Punk) mount BOM: 3x 3mm brass standoffs, 3mm tall 3x 3mm x 10mm bolts and the hardware you need to mount the extruder, which is 2 3mm x5mm bolts and nuts Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Taranutla Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2-? Infill: 20% will be fine Notes: I print this on a Tevo with a 1.2mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer heights and it's ROCK Solid with only 20% infill and 2 perimeters when needed no support is needed; the angles should be just fine and gradual. Print with the flat side down and it should come out golden
