Olympic Recurve Wall mount

Thingiverse sgtastro Free 3D Printable

This is a very strong wall mount for heavy bows, or other heavy items. The motivation for this was the simple archery Bow Rack by WING_Ducky and my desire to wall mount my Olympic Recurve Bow when I am not using it.About the design: It isn't as elegant as the one by WING_Ducky, but it is much stronger.I printed mine at 26% infill with 4 walls. I feel like these settings and the design of the part are major overkill for the application, but the idea of a $1000+ piece of equipment getting broken because of me trying to save material seemed dreadful. The screw holes in the model are counter sunk for the head of ANSI #10 wood screws. I'll be using 1.5 inch screws to mount mine as well as a shaft extender on the end of the drill to allow me to reach the holes. If you are trying this yourself, make sure the screws are hitting a stud when you are mounting it. The part have a large mounting surface area against the wall, so you could also try mounting with 3M products instead of screws, just don't blame me if it falls off the wall 4 months from now.All the members of the model are 12.5mm (0.5 inch) and the solidworks model is designed in metric units.Other print settings: 220°C, eSUN Dark Blue PLA, 65mm/s, 0.2 layer height, 55° bed temperature, Glass bed on the Creality Ender 3
