Cubicle Display Shelf Bracket
thingiverse
I Made This Bracket To Hold A Display Shelf In My Work Cubicle. I Had Tried To Buy Special Shelves Designed For Cubicles, But They Were Too Expensive And Smaller Than I Needed. These Brackets Attach To The Partition Panel, So No Screws Are Required. Here's What You'll Need Beyond The Bracket To Build Your Own Shelf. Disclaimer: I Used This Design In My Specific Situation, But If You Try It Yourself, Do So At Your Own Risk. Be Careful Not To Overload The Shelf And Damage The Partition, Or Scratch The Surface Of The Partition (If It Isn't Padded). I Make No Claim That This Bracket Will Fit Any Particular Partition System, But If It Fits Yours, I Hope It Helps. In Addition To Printing The Brackets, You'll Need 2 1/2" Steel Corner Braces, A Piece Of Light And Sturdy Wood For The Shelf, And Bolts/Nuts To Hold Everything Together. For My Shelf, I Used A 1/4" X 5 1/2" X 24" Piece Of Pine/Spruce. The Brackets Are Designed To Attach To A 2 1/2" Corner Brace (The Off-Center Holes In The Model Match The Actual Offset Holes Of The Braces I Used). They Hang On The Top Edge Of A 1/2" Thick Partition Panel. To Install It, I Had To Remove The Top Partition Retainer And Then Remove The Panel Above The One I Wanted To Hang It On, To Get Enough Clearance To Set The Brackets In Place.
