Cubic Silent Fidget Toy
thingiverse
I own several of the original Fidget Cube, designed by Antsy Labs, and I'm extremely pleased with them. They greatly assist me in focusing and managing symptoms of attention deficit disorder. There's very little to complain about when it comes to the Fidget Cube. This project is completely independent from Antsy Labs and hasn't been endorsed by them. This isn't meant to replace or divert attention away from the original Fidget Cube. If you're interested in this design, it's highly recommended that you own a genuine Fidget Cube - they're quite affordable. My only concern with the Fidget Cube is its tendency to make noise when used in quiet environments. Clicking buttons and flipping switches may help me focus, but it can be distracting for those around me. I've tried using my items quietly, but I'm aware that resisting the urge to click a pen can be challenging at times. In response, I created this tool to allow myself to fidget without disturbing others. The device features six distinct surfaces that invite exploration with your fingers. The small dots are printed in TPU and can be pressed gently. A hole runs from left to right, allowing you to poke around it with a pen or similar object. Each side boasts a centered element, enabling you to grasp the cube on opposite sides and rotate it. Top: The surface is smooth with a slight bump - no need to worry about damaging speakers anymore. Front: Five distinct holes of varying sizes Left: A hole accompanied by eight small dots in two different sizes, slightly offset from each other Right: Another hole, along with four protruding corners that resemble buttons Back: A six-sided polygon recess divided into four steps Bottom: A shape composed of non-intersecting straight lines and a central dot The original Fidget Cube can be found here: https://www.antsylabs.com/products/fidget-cube - I highly recommend purchasing one; they're truly exceptional.
