Cubic Lattices
thingiverse
Some intricate lattices from Makers Muse, designed to push your printer to its limits! You'll find a fundamental 3x3x3 cube sitting atop a small base. The double cubes boast segments that don't intersect, yet are intricately intertwined. The triple boasts rotational symmetry - a feat I've never seen before - resulting in an incredibly complex web at its core. The segments come in two sizes: 4mm and 3mm. The 4mm segments prove more reliable, while the 3mm ones require a bit more finesse. I suspect it's largely a matter of effective cooling and achieving the perfect nozzle temperature. I've just added my first build to the mix, taking a whopping 15 hours with a layer height of 0.12mm - an attempt to improve those stubborn 65-degree overhangs. From now on, I'll be switching to 0.2mm for more manageable build times! Be sure to keep an eye out for plate adhesion issues!
