This is the culmination of eight weeks spent designing at the Naval Postgraduate School alongside seven fellow interns. Together, we worked tirelessly to craft a payload capable of soaring to an altitude of 80,000 feet, gathering valuable data on the atmosphere while ensuring its safe descent via parachutes. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors like Dr. James Newman, David Rigmaiden, Ron Phelps, and Dan Sakota, our team made rapid progress. I extend my sincerest gratitude to my fellow interns: Gavin James, Milan Brennan, Ryan Ramirez, Meya Gorbea, Skyar Laham, Grayson McGrew, Elise-Claire Roberts, and William Theaker. Our launch was a resounding success, with the payload landing softly in an almond tree. We even managed to capture stunning photos of it drifting gently towards Earth's surface. On board, we had an accelerometer, barometer, magnetometer, compass, GPS unit, and a 360-degree Samsung camera, which provided breathtaking footage of our flight.
