To minimize part count and enhance configurability, the assembly features two pairs of unique components. This simplifies production while allowing expansion to multiple cube assemblies. Cubes have horizontal and vertical slots for flexible electronics placement. Optional top and bottom panels increase expandability. The design caters to plastic additive manufacturing methods, with calculated masses of 116 grams in nylon and 118 grams in PEI. Roll pins secure the cube assemblies, requiring no tapping; laser-cutting could be utilized for bottom and top panels if needed.
