I was captivated by the dynamic interplay between the sides of the wire frame cube and the light as I gazed at it from an angle. This observation sparked a creative vision: to craft a desktop toy that would replicate the effect of a spinning wire frame cube, showcasing its intriguing visual properties. The base of the model, painted white, was 3D printed using a Makerbot 2X, while the vibrant red spinning cube itself was printed vertically on a more advanced Makerbot 5th Generation printer. The design's complexity was heightened by the small print area at the bottom of the cube, posing a challenge that required precision to overcome.
