Cube Puzzle

This is a simple puzzle cube to test yours or your friends minds. It starts off as a long snake of cube and you need to manipulate them to become a 3x3 square cube. Just need a 3mm X 560mm piece of elastic cord to attach all the parts together. Note: I added a half end cube STL that you can use for a test print to check how well the holes come out beforehand. Then you can make any print adjustments if needed in your slicer. PRINTING: Position: Print as shown. Material: Doesn't mater, but should use two different colors Resolution: 0.15 Adhesion: Skirt Supports: No ASSEMBLY: There should be a total of 27 cubes and 2 plugs when done printing. Check out the assembly image for the order for them to go onto the elastic cord. The number of each piece and colors needed are as follows (color called out per assembly image). Straight = 9 (3 Red - 6 White) Curves = 16 (9 Red - 7 White) Ends = 2 (Red) Plugs = 2 (Red) Note: There are two STL's for the plugs. One is 0.069" (1.75mm) thick, and the one with the "L" on the on the end is 0.125" (3.175mm), but has a divot on the inside to give room for the end of the cord. Either one works well. 1. Slip on one of the end cubes onto the elastic cord and put a ball of epoxy glue on the of end of the cord and let fully dry (about 30min). 2. Make sure it wont pull through the hole in the cube. 3. Add the rest of the cubes in the order according to the assembly image until the other end cube is added. 4. Pull all the cubes tight together without any slack in the cord. 5. Stretch the cord out as much as you can and use some kind of clamping pliers to hold the end of the cord from going back in. 6. Cut off cord so that only about 1/2" is sticking out and put a ball of epoxy on the end of the elastic cord 7. Insert plugs in place. They should be a press fit, but could glue them if you want. 8. All the cube should pull tight together, but still able to pull them apart a little in order to work the puzzle. HAPPY PRINTING!
