Cube inside a Dodecahedron inside a Icosahedron
thingiverse
I've been experimenting with creating complex geometric shapes using Fusion 360, and I wanted to design something visually striking for my workspace. This intricate model features a cube nestled inside a dodecahedron, which is itself contained within an icosahedron - a truly unique combination. The original design dimensions were set at 10cm in width, with walls constructed from 2mm thick material. However, the test print shown here has been scaled down by 50% to accommodate printing constraints. To ensure successful printing, I incorporated support structures into the design and optimized the model for bed adhesion. If you're interested in learning how I create Platonic Solids in Fusion 360, I've compiled a comprehensive playlist on YouTube that showcases my process: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCLbfOk6fdG2muvjj1vQ9b2uVJBXZ-VKq
