Cube in Sphere 2016 edition
thingiverse
Tired of the umpteenth remake of the sphere-in-a-cube? The original cube-in-sphere, designed by clintkc, gets a fresh polish. Rotated for better printability, new supports are added to make printing easier and less prone to visible marks when removed. I rebuilt the model from scratch using the original dimensions, resulting in a much smoother mesh. As with the original, the cube's corners align perfectly with the sphere's shell if it were complete. Next to looking cool, this design is an excellent test for your 3D printer's bed adhesion and overhang printing capabilities. You can leave the supports attached to display them or remove them with a sharp tool like an xacto knife. A version without supports is also available for those who dare to try. Print Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 20% Notes: Silver ABS and glow-in-the-dark PLA
