Ridwan S designed a Cube Brick model using SolidWorks 2014 and rendered it with KeyShot 5. The model has file types including .SLDPRT, .IGS, .OBJ, and .STL, featuring 101,529 vertices and 203,602 polygons. Designed for the CubeSat challenge, this Cube Brick offers advantages such as easy assembly, lightweight construction, and compatibility with additive manufacturing techniques like Fused Deposition Modeling. Made of nylon or recommended materials, it can be assembled into 1U, 3U, or other configurations due to its stack system similar to Lego blocks. The snap-fit system attaches components, and the model consists of three different components: Base (1), Support PCB Cover (1), and Top Cover (4 or based on total PCB modules). Easy to open and close, this construction requires no fasteners and is stable and strong.
