Cube-based Papercraft-Modeller
thingiverse
This program creates papercraft models in cubic forms. Save and load (*.kub) files are supported. Pressing 'GEN' opens a generator window with a random function that finds potential working papercrafts, listing the top 10 ranked based on criteria like width, height, glue flaps, missing flaps, cuts, and folds. A right-click shows a printable version of the craft with or without numbers. Installation involves unzipping Kubus.zip and running start_Kubus.bat (or "java -jar Kubus.jar") while on Linux, libjava3d-jni installation may be required. Usage includes mouse selection for cubes, arrow keys to move them on X/Y axis, page up/down for Z-axis movement, enter key to add a cube at 0,0,0, backspace to delete selected cubes, and clicking 'GEN' for the generator window.
