This is the base for a badge that will be revealed at Cyphercon 2.0. I don't think there's enough time to make these before the conference, so I'll leave it here. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: It doesn't matter. Resolution: Low Infill: 15% Notes: I printed at low resolution without supports without any problems. However, there are occasional fallouts. Adding supports would be better. I suggest using rafts to improve grip on the table. Post-Printing You'll need a knife to clean up strings and separate the raft/supports. You could possibly use other methods to smooth out surfaces. How I Designed This Background This electronic badge project is being created by friends, so I decided to add my time to build a nice usable stand for when the badge isn't hanging around participants' necks (like when hackery ensues or it needs to be displayed).
