You may be able to mitigate the effects of frequent cartridge swapping by using a bulk filament workaround instead of Cube-specific material. Over time, all that pulling and shoving in and out could start to take its toll on both the printer itself and the delicate chip contacts. One way to prevent excessive wear is to open up a used cartridge, carefully pry the bottom chip free, and affix it securely onto this sturdy base using print pad glue. This enables you to place the chip on top of the contacts with gentle precision and swap cartridges seamlessly without wearing down the sensitive electrical connections. To get started, apply a small amount of adhesive to the square indentation and press the base into place firmly.
