Cub Scouts Canada Woggle
thingiverse
This Boy Scouts necker woggle is based on the snapping cloth woggle used by Cub Scouts in Canada.I would have liked to replicate the stitching at the top and bottom, but my computer was really getting bogged down trying to make a sweep around a helix. I probably could have found an easier way, but I was starting to get frustrated and just wanted to get this done. So, I will instead leave this as a fun improvement project for future hobbyists. The woggle features a slight "anchor" on the internal surface which is meant to help prevent it from slipping off (something that has happened to me while running with a necker on). Due to the geometry of this anchor you should flip the woggle upside-down before slicing and printing.I also upped the infill to 30% to make it a bit more sturdy....never a bad idea when your intended users are youths.
