The Cu plate weighed approximately 150kg; it was attached to a 300kg Kuka PA robot's gripper. The plate's surface was extremely rugged, necessitating the use of special vacuum pads and ejectors. To ensure safety, mechanical fingers were activated post-lifting. However, the pile of Cu plates was uneven, prompting us to implement a floating system that enabled the gripper to tilt up to 15 degrees on both x and y axes while moving 50mm along z axis during grabbing. Once the plate was securely held, the floating unit stiffened for accurate placement.
