Cu NANO Clip V1

Cu NANO Clip V1

thingiverse

A simple post for bulldog clip covers. Specifically the 25mm type used on 3d printer glass beds. Derivative of the Cu NANO Pen V2 design concept. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4703858 As part of self sterilising stationary for healthcare workers and vaccination volunteers in UK during 3rd UK lockdown. Printed in antimicrobial COPPER3D PLActive with proven effectiveness against coronaviruses and bacteria. No time to polish or test so consider a BETA design until further update. Pandemic situation in the UK is now a nightmare scenario (Jan 2021). Hence the work in progress release. If anyone can suggest design tweaks please leave a comment or have a go with the provided STEP file to help out. This design is printed vertically. Ideally it should be printed flat for strength along layer lines but this was difficult without epic bridging skills. Which a lot of novice printer users aren't setup for yet. It seems strong enough printed vertically and hot so releasing as is. Printed one at a time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4YONDL4iXo For other sizes scale height and width as necessary. Prototype in normal PLA first if scaling for other sizes to avoid wasting any PLActive on printer tuning.
