CTR Kart - Crash Bandicoot

CTR Kart - Crash Bandicoot

I built this kart with 3D printing in mind, so every part fits together perfectly without needing screws except for the base plate and front/rear panels. Even the wheels just clip on and turn easily after installation. I added screws for extra strength, but it should work fine if you just glue it together. The build process is pretty straightforward; all you need to do is make sure you install the tubing before mounting the wheels and pedals on the model. I used super glue to hold most of the parts in place and a drop of olive oil for the wheels and steering wheel. I've included two test files, one for the steering wheel and another for the axle/wheel assembly, so you can print them first to ensure the tolerances work for your 3D printer. This kart is designed specifically for the Ender 3; you'll need to print the base plate and tubing at a 45° angle. I've also adjusted the tolerances accordingly, so they should fit together smoothly. There are two sets of wheels included - one with a flat design that's easier to print, and another with the rim sticking out a bit. I'd love to see your prints and hear about the color scheme you choose! Please post your makes! I've uploaded a new STL file, which is a flame you can insert into the exhaust.
