The ultimate goal was to design a printer that could outdo the Prusa Mendel in terms of print volume. To achieve this, we opted for a sturdy chassis built around M8 screw rods, featuring a robust pyramidal design that would provide unparalleled stability. To further enhance the printer's stability, we incorporated mounting holes into the wooden plate, ensuring a rock-solid foundation for our machine. The standard 220x220mm aluminium heated bed was chosen for its reliability and ease of use, while the E3D V6 hotend (clone) with Bowden type extruder proved to be an excellent choice for precision printing. With a build size of 220 x 220 x 200 mm (xyz), this printer is ready to tackle even the most complex projects. To minimize z-wobbling and ensure smooth prints, we equipped the Z axis with bearing stabilizers. For more information on this project, check out the Reprap wiki at https://reprap.org/wiki/.ctor-bot
