I just built a cooler for the Y-axis stepper motor. Free swing for plug is planned. 40mm fan can be simply screwed in between. The case needs to be sawed/drilled with the stencil. I first tightened the stepper motor/belt, then held the body steady and marked the long holes - drilled out with stencil - sanded smooth. Beforehand cover the Z-axis bearings so dust doesn't get in. I take no responsibility for anything - all I can say is it works for me.
