In its original state, the CTC could potentially pose a risk when lifting the printer with fingers touching the blank contacts, resulting in an electric shock. The switch cover is molded in place to prevent this from happening. To install it, loosen the lower screw, remove the nut, and heat it carefully before inserting it into the previously molded switch plate. This allows the plate to be installed more easily. Now the plate can be secured with a screw and serves as a future touch protection.
