Like all the happy owners of CTC Prusa i3, we have a hard time getting tight straps. They are walking from right to left on the front, making it difficult for us to get a good grip. To solve this problem, we need to replace some small wooden parts with better ones. Here are a few solutions: Y (replace small wooden parts) * Use the "CTC Prusa i3 Y stabilization belt" piece to wedge the entire pulley on the front panel. * Replace the engine support with a new one that is specifically designed for CTC Prusa i3 printers. X (replace right pulley support) * Use the parts provided here using media for printing following the two photos taken in Cura. * You will need a 40mm M3 screw, a washer and a heating plate spring (optional). * When printing the X-pulleys, make sure to reduce your printing speed to 10mm/s (5mm/s): This part is identical to the pulleys supplied with the printer: no need to change the pitch of the X motors or Y. For assembly, use the bearings and the metal shaft provided origins. The bearings are mounted from inside the new part. To prevent the pulley from touching one of the inner walls, 7mm cutter blades should be used when you center the axle in the bearings and pulleys. Z (Optional) * The support to use the DUAL_Z with Marlin is compatible with the screw M3 of 40mm used for the X.
