CTC Prusa i3 Filament Guide
thingiverse
Spoiler: This design is completely unacceptable. I've since replaced it with a makeshift, unsightly design that at least functions properly. I hope to refine the new design and post it one day. A Filament guide designed for mounting on top of the LCD panel of budget-friendly CTC branded Chinese Prusa i3 style printers (available on eBay for £150). I discovered that filament would easily snag in the pre-drilled hole in the wooden frame. I created this to run filament in from above the extruder. Designed to fit snugly on the frame panel, and wedge securely behind the LCD's circuit board. I printed it with 30% infill (alternating grid), 0.8mm walls, and supports. Although it would likely print fine without supports, I wanted it to look neat and clean. This design was created using Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9FOfk2hCMCE
