This is a reworked version of another bowden extruder, with one notable twist: it utilizes the bearing that comes standard with the printer and mounts directly onto the top left z-axis plate. So far, it's been functioning flawlessly for me and has a sleek, streamlined appearance when attached to the printer. I've also included the right z-top plate as part of this assembly. However, I didn't drill the hole for the threaded rods to the correct size for a top bearing since I wouldn't trust those rods to be straight, and installing a bearing would likely introduce z-axis wobble at that point. You should only need a few m3 screws of varying lengths, one of which is a countersink screw that goes under the tensioner. Alternatively, you could use a spring on the tensioner if you prefer, but I've found it unnecessary since I've set the dimensions so that the extruder gets snugly secured and grips the filament perfectly. If I end up disassembling this part again in the future, I'll be sure to note down the screw lengths required.
