CTC Prusa i3 autolevel support
thingiverse
Support for autolevel sensor is crucial, especially when dealing with a unique extruder+hotend+aluminium setup found on my CTC Prusa i3 printer. This unusual combination makes it challenging to install some layer fans and even more difficult to use an autolevel sensor, prompting me to design a custom piece that attaches underneath the aluminium support without touching the hot piece. The goal is to provide a secure way to fasten the autolevel sensor while allowing for adjustments using the screws located under the extruder. To ensure proper installation, I recommend adding washers between the aluminium and the new piece to prevent any contact issues. Additionally, it's essential to include washers on the screws to avoid deforming the groove they reside in. As this is my first design, I'm eager to hear if it proves useful to others.
