CTC PROBLEM PLEASE HELP I TRYED EVERYTHING
thingiverse
I recently purchased a CTC 3D printer, allowing me to create a few objects with ease before running into a critical issue - the extruder began clicking loudly. Initially, I was printing with PLA on the right-hand side, then switched to the left-hand extruder, but it quickly followed suit by starting to click as well. When this occurs, no plastic flows out. I've even tried pushing forcefully onto the top of the hot end, still unable to stop the clicking sound from persisting. Attempting a temporary fix, I applied vegetable oil directly into the extruder's feed system and witnessed an initial decrease in the problem but only for a brief duration. The solution appears elusive as experimenting with different temperatures produced no change in outcome. A long-standing puzzle remains: how to safely detach the nozzle. I'm at a loss for where the nozzle screws secure to the CTC's metal framework and my trepidation grows - damaging critical parts could hinder efforts toward resolution further down the line. To finally overcome this impasse, help is sorely needed, as many have encountered similar challenges in the past with such devices and possess knowledge or know of someone who can provide expert assistance. I am genuinely seeking a solution to return the printer back to operation so please don't hesitate if you are capable and willing to share your insights on the subject at hand!
