I was thoroughly unimpressed with every generic fan duct designed for the CTC i3 printer, so I decided to create a custom one that would enclose the print nozzle and rapidly cool the filament. My design drew inspiration from existing CTC i3 fan ducts but added a distinctive ring around the head for improved functionality. This project is an ongoing work in progress; currently, I'm focused on reinforcing the funnel connection to the print nozzle and relocating the air outlet for the extruder upward.
