CTC i3 Marlin 1.1.6 Firmware
thingiverse
I've configured the latest Marlin Firmware 1.1.6 for the CTC i3, and I'm excited to share it with you all so you don't have to worry about updating your firmware manually. Inside the Zip file, you'll find two Firmwares: Stock Configuration and Auto Bed Leveling. Use the Stock Configuration if you haven't made any hardware adjustments to your printer. If you're using an inductive sensor, just go with the Auto Bed Leveling firmware - everything will be set up for you. I've also included my Sensor Mount, which you can use right away. The Firmware is already optimized for the Mounting Plate, so you won't need to make any changes. Here are some of the key features of this new Firmware: - The latest Marlin firmware 1.1.6 with numerous improvements - (Auto Bed Leveling) depending on your choice - Linear Advance feature - better print quality - Advanced Pause feature - change Filament easily mid-print - EEPROM - store Settings you've made - Printer Statistics - see how many Prints you've done and how much Filament you've used - Emergency Commands - cancel prints while the Buffer is still full - Control both heaters simultaneously - Calibrated Steps/mm (were wrong on default Firmware) - Adjusted Preheat constants for what works best with this printer - Added an LCD Info Menu where you can get all the information about your printer quickly This Firmware is designed for the ATmega2560 chip, but it also works with the ATmega1280 chip. If you haven't already, you'll likely need to flash a bootloader using an USBASP or Arduino UNO - just do a quick Google search and you'll find plenty of information on how to do that. Have fun with your fresh Marlin Firmware!
