CTC I3 Belt Tensioner

CTC I3 Belt Tensioner

This is my take on the belt mounts/tensioner on the CTC I3 Pro B. It's specifically designed for GT2 20T Idlers with 5mm ID bearings. To assemble it, you'll need a countersunk M5 16mm screw, an idler, and a M5 square nut. Mounting requires a M3 screw, preferably one that matches the original, along with a M3 nyloc and the original wing nut and washer. Keep in mind that this is still under construction, and I might make some changes down the line. Edit: I've added an alternative version for the same idler. This new design uses a M4 screw and a M4 square nut instead of the M5. To ensure accurate positioning, I've added a 0.2mm lip around the bearing hole. I've also revised the tensioning mechanism. Now you insert a M3 square nut into the holder and use a regular screw to tighten it from the outside. Edit 2: I wasn't satisfied with the X-carriage's limited travel range, so I made another version of the mount. This one requires precise printing and has some unique features. The new design features a 4.99mm tube that presses onto the bearing, along with a 3.2mm hole for a M3 screw at around 10-12mm. I recommend using a countersunk screw with a head slightly larger than the bearing ID or a hex cap screw with an OD matching the bearing ID and some locking compound. Mounting to the ZX-carriage remains the same as before, using a M3 square nut. Edit 3: I've created yet another version of the X-axis idler pulley. This one is slimmer than its predecessor, addressing a previous issue where the pulley wasn't perfectly aligned due to being too wide.
