CTC, FlashForge Y Linear Rod Holder
thingiverse
It's a straightforward modification. I didn't have the required square nut, so I made some adjustments to the original design. I adjusted the clearance of the 8mm rod. To achieve a very tight fit on the linear rod, the part needs to be drilled slowly to 8mm. The M3 also fits tightly. Assembly Instructions: - To install the M3 nuts, use a long pair of pliers and press firmly while placing the nut in position. Applying heat from a soldering iron can help soften the plastic. - I added some material (such as old blue tape) to the hole holding the rod to prevent it from moving. I printed mine with 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle diameter, four inner layers, eight top and bottom layers, 30% strong hex infill, PLA at 220C, slow speed, and no cooling fan.
