I possess a CTC Dual 3D printer and rarely utilize the second extruder, only for initial testing purposes. This secondary extruder, accompanied by its cables, contributes significantly to increased vibrations and complications during maintenance operations. Consequently, I remove it to allocate extra space for implementing an active cooling system. Installing this system yields excellent results with PLA printing, as well as for smaller components manufactured from certain materials. If you seek a highly effective active cooling system, try implementing one - its sleek and compact design consistently surpasses standard radial fan systems in my tests.
