CTC Dual Printer Filament/tube guide - No Screws or Cutting!
thingiverse
Here's a guide for building a filament guide that makes use of the holes in the back of your CTC dual printer: this is possibly utilized for cable ties. To get started, print out two clips and attach them securely to the printer. When attaching these clips, ensure that you insert the top one from underneath to avoid unnecessary frustration. Next up are the pole pieces - you'll need to print out two of these as well. The unique design allows for segmented heights, which in turn helps distribute tension across the tubing without putting too much strain on it. Once you have your pole pieces ready, attach the pole end to one of them, then slot that into a mount, and finally feed the tubing through. One thing I'm still working on is figuring out how to make it easy to pull the tube out when needed - so far, my best idea has been avoiding using smaller cuts that might distort the tube. This design hasn't been thoroughly tested yet, but initial results are promising.
