CT90 Sealed Battery Holder with 12v Converter and Switch Mount
thingiverse
This plate will securely hold a sealed 6v battery for a Honda CT90. It slides into the battery box location and effectively covers most of the hole, offering a neat fit. I've added holes to mount my 12v converter, as well as a spot for an ignition cutoff switch. There are alternative files available on this page without those holes if you prefer them. At the bottom of the plate, I adjusted the existing mount tab slightly to snug it in place. Eventually, I'll modify the file to attach directly into it, but that's still pending. I printed the part with the flat side facing down at 35% infill and five-layer walls using PLA, ensuring the battery-holding section was solid and robust. You may need to drill out the top hole slightly depending on your specific bolt configuration. In the future, I plan to re-do it in PETG for improved heat resistance since it's located close to the exhaust system; however, that hasn't been an issue so far.
