Robert Csíkszentmihályi launches the Fiúk, fel a fejjel! art group in 1987, featuring characters with dual human forms that make viewers feel like they are watching well-orchestrated chamber dramas where the action revolves around humiliation, mutual dependence, vulnerability, empathy, or indifference. The cycle includes the Igor and Gregor work, whose sign-like figures wearing military uniforms without heads move together in obedience to a higher command. Small-scale sculpture is linked to the discovery and revival of the wax-melting bronze casting technique in the oeuvre; the exploration of form and the boundaries of technique motivated the artist to create. The forms overflowing with minute details, undershooting surfaces, and breaking lines reinterpret and expand the genre's framework.
