The original Romanesque church structure features a Nave with two prominent towers, built during the Romanesque period and enlarged in the 1300s with polygonal changes to the shrine. Further transformations occurred in XV., particularly on the southern side where completion was finalized around 1485 with reinforced buttresses and aisle. This significant architectural conversion resulted in a transition towards Gothic boltozása style. However, the boat-like expansion posed stability issues that required an adjustment, with sanctuary columns constructed about four years later to counteract static strain on the original nave. This Nave is supported by two center pillars, and additional northside supports were also implemented. Restructuring efforts in early 1500s focused primarily on tower renovation. Following this revamp, designers incorporated distinctive features like large támják elements with Tuscan-type archways and accompanying gúlasisakok comprising four towers around the structure's periphery. At the southern entrance, architects cleverly retained an original pine szúrágta door alongside a stunning Gothic wrought-iron door frame with subtle Gothic details, showcasing meticulous design integration of historical periods in one cohesive structure.
