I work with numerous development boards on a regular basis, which is why I'm so particular about protecting my tabletop and preventing the solder pads on the bottom of each board from coming into contact with metal objects. This coaster serves as an essential protective measure for both the board itself and the surface it's sitting on. It shields them from potential damage. The ePaper display is remarkably delicate, which is why I must be cautious not to bend or flex it excessively. Fortunately, this coaster provides a rock-solid foundation that holds the display and interface board firmly in place, ensuring they can withstand even slight bumps or jolts. To secure the display to the coaster, I used a "glue-dot," a small, flat, removable adhesive product specifically designed for this purpose.
