The abandoned remnants of one of the southern water towers stand prominently at Crystal Palace Park, London, their proximity to the Crystal Palace Museum a striking visual juxtaposition. These structures were deliberately dismantled during World War II to prevent them from serving as navigational landmarks for potential adversaries. Built in 1855, this relic has witnessed over a century and a half of history unfold before its very presence. In February 2020, the water tower was immortalized through 314 photographs taken with a Sony a6000 camera and subsequently processed utilizing Reality Capture technology.
