Our MakerBot Ornaments Challenge entry features a traditional shape with modern facets. The design is based on a snowflake's six-sided crystal shape at its widest point, but also looks great as just the top half. Printed in green, it resembles a tree. Clear filaments would enhance its appearance; if you print one, please share your results! To print this model, use 0% fill and one shell at 0.2 layer thickness or thinner for translucency. No support is needed. Align and glue two identical halves together. The design allows room for an LED and battery if desired.
