I was really intrigued by this challenge since I've never printed anything in 3D, or had high resolution graphics applied to it, either. I can see the benefits of this process when package/product designers are in the development process and being able to review a physical model that looks great and realistic.So, I took up the challenge and wanted to see if I could create something fun and exciting. A design that would be visually appealing, vivid and trendy. I chose "Crypto" as a brand since it's been trending recently and know how volatile the market has been. There have been several memes about it and thought it would be a good idea to develop into packaging. I first started with gathering some references and started working on how I could make this a little different than the standard model that was provided. So I created a stack of gold coins for the cap. That would tie into the crypto currency idea. Since this would be a flexible film that wraps around the bottle, I created a simple, yet bright and authentic looking label. Added a little roughness for the matte look. A subtle difference from the glossy glass bottle. Keyshot was great at design iterations (had many of them!!). I finally liked the look of the graphics and mapped it to the bottle and easily added the rest of the material. Very fun indeed and hope you like my submission! Take care.
