Cryptex for Betrayal at House on the Hill

This device is a parametric multi-rotor "cryptex" designed for tracking Betrayal at House on the Hill character scores with precision. Unlike its namesake, this "cryptex" does not feature a puzzle or lock, but rather a clever mechanism that resembles one. The rotors rotate independently around a central core, indexed to ensure that each face clicks into position with the top always aligned. A built-in ruby program generates labels for Betrayal at House on the Hill game cryptexes, which need to be printed and attached to the rotors. Two M4 bolts hold the cryptex together securely. The game caters to three to six players, each choosing from twelve unique characters. This means that up to six full cryptexes can be used during gameplay. Creating a set of twelve rotors with character names and scores allows players to select their favorite and quickly reset a cryptex by removing the bolts and replacing the rotors.
