Big thanks to [CloudJ] for original build! The main change I made is to the width of the gaps in the "outer" tube. Made 'em wider by about 1mm total. This allows "inner" tube to fit nicely and everything spins easy. I needed this to spin easy enough for both the very young and the very old. Works great. This is a 4-ring cryptex. Remixed from my own remix of the [CloudJ] build. Find my 6-ring remix here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5696632 Adjusted the tubes and nubs so they slid together more smoothly. This works for me and should work for you, too. No Sanding Needed! * * Some sanding required. But not like before. Just sand the inside of the "ring" and the outside of the "lock". This allows ease of reassembly if you ever want to change the code. One could shave about 0.50 off the outside of the "lock" file, but I haven't got to it yet. And it works great as is. With just a little sanding. Very small amount. Print: (1) inner (1) outer (4) locks (4) rings Printing on Draft mode, 25% infill, with no supports.
