Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi - LED-carrier plate
thingiverse
So I was looking for a way to get out of using NZXT's CAM Software to control the LED's on the Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi. I ended up replacing the entire RGB-PCB with a 5V adressable WS2812B 5050 RGB Strip (144 leds/m) that can be controlled via Corsair's RGB Ecosystem. I also ended up removing the LED's below the Heatsink because they weren't necessary. The layout is made especially for this RGB Strip: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01JTVRJ22 However, other RGB-Strips might fit too. I recommend 144leds/m to illuminate the whole logo (I didn't test it with others). For those that are interested in how to connect it to Corsair's RGB Ecosystem: I only used 10 LED's of that strip because in my case I wanted it to be compatible with all animations Corsair provides for their official LED-RGB strips (which have only 10 LEDs per strip). Also, the illumination with fewer LEDs wasn't as good. In my case, the RGB strip is directly connected to one of the Corsair Link Commander Pro LED ports. Print settings don't really matter much, just do as accurate as you can. The model isn't really a challenge. Just make sure the diffuser is printed with transparent/clear filament (I sanded it a bit, but it shouldn't matter much). Notice: Pictures show the older model I used which didn't fit perfectly with the heatpipes (I cut off a part later on to make it fit - the model is updated and should work just fine). For attachment, I removed the old pcb holder pins (left and right side) and glued the whole thing into the coverplate. (I used super glue for this after failing with high temperature silicone.)
