Cruziana is a type of trace fossil that represents feeding trails left behind by mysterious trilobite species or perhaps other arthropods. The specimen in question originates from the western edge of Saudi Arabia's vast Nefud Desert, an area where its age remains shrouded in mystery, but geologists believe it dates back to the Cambrian period.
