I've been printing the Cruzada Estelar set and I'm loving every minute of it, despite being only 25% done. The one thing that's kept me occupied is those doors - they're beautiful, but also super challenging. The set comes with doors that are loose, as well as ones that fit snugly into walls. And the wall doors come in a variety of forms: damaged and undamaged, with no clear explanation for how many varieties there are. The problem is this: the damaged doors are ruined on both sides. Yes, you read that right - both sides! Imagine being a Gene Stealer, smashing through a door, only to never go back and smash the other side. It just doesn't make sense. And yet, some of these undamaged doors do seem plausible. But then I had an epiphany: what if we took those undamaged doors and split them in half? What if we gave each piece its own matching counterpart? Suddenly, I had four different half-damaged wall doors and board doors to add to the Cruzada Estelar set. My recommendation is to print these four new wall doors, along with a pair of undamaged doors and two fully damaged doors. And don't forget to grab two of each damaged board door - that way, you'll have a complete set of upgraded wall doors. Trust me, it's worth the extra effort!
